The Infinity Room reimagines our relationship with three iconic cities and the music genres that they are best known for. Attendees were greeted by a docent, prompted to choose city, and step into another dimension of experience. Inside the Infinity Room they were treated to a completely custom two minute music video of the city of their choice.
The 14′ x 12′ room is completely modular, and travels to different music festivals throughout the short Canadian summer activation season. Two of the walls were outfitted with arrays of screens, seamlessly giving an immersive experience from two separate video sources.
Hfour designed and built the room, created and directed all the video, and made an iPad app which enabled the docents to easily control the room.
